Common questions

How do I cancel Vangie Plus?

If you subscribed in the iOS app, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel Vangie there — Apple handles billing and cancellations for App Store purchases. If you subscribed on the web, use the manage-subscription link in Settings → Vangie Plus.

How do I stop Vangie calling or messaging me?

Open Settings → Notifications & calls in the app and turn off phone calls, push notifications, or email check-ins independently. You can also just tell Vangie in chat that you'd rather she didn't call, and she'll update it.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Account → Delete my account. We email you a confirmation link, and once you confirm, your account, subscription state, conversations, and check-in history are removed.

Is Vangie a real counsellor?

No. Vangie is an AI companion. She is not a licensed counsellor, therapist, doctor, or member of the clergy, and she is not an emergency service. Please use the resources above if you need urgent help.

I was charged but Vangie Plus isn't active

Open Settings → Vangie Plus and tap Restore purchases. If that doesn't resolve it, email us with the date of purchase and we'll sort it out.
